Top 5 Reasons to Move to Boca Raton

Boca Raton is the second- largest city in The Palm Beaches and covers five miles of golden beaches. Boca Raton may often be thought of as the playground of the wealthy, it has a casual, family friendly side that is more affordable than you think. There is no place like Boca Raton, Florida and here are five great reasons to call it your home!

1)    Beautiful, Sunny Weather
Because Boca Raton is located on the east side of Florida, weather remains consistently sunny, as rain and clouds are typically absorbed by the west. In fact, on average, there are 231 sunny days per year in Boca Raton. The July high stays around 91 degrees, while the average day time low is  approximately 58. The winter weather is ideal, although hardly considered winter. If you love warm weather with a breeze, then Boca Raton may be the place for you!

2)    A- Rated Schools and Universities

Palm Beach County is nationally recognized for its excellence in education and has been an “A” rated county since 2006. Boca Raton has a wide variety of public, private, and charter schools. The small classroom environment and cutting edge techniques have helped Boca Raton school districts have a higher than average success rate for students. With a large amount of extracurricular activities and sports programs in addition to the academics, it becomes clear for any parent that Boca Raton is a great place to send your children to school.  Some high schools in Boca Raton even offer duel enrollment at any of the colleges or universities in the area.

3)    Easy Access to fine dining, shopping, and recreation

Boca Raton is surrounded by various shopping centers, nightlife, activities, and attractions. The city of Boca Raton is home to Town Center Mall with 220 upscale specialty shops, and countless family- owned boutiques. 4).  Florida No State Income Tax

As a result, it attracts numerous corporations to the area, including the world headquarters of Office Depot, ADT, GEO Group, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, SBA Communications, and others. We were excited to hear the news that Broken Sound Club would be host to the 2014 Allianz Championship.

After searching for locations in South Florida for over a year, we kept coming back to Broken Sound because the quality and challenge of the golf course had all the ingredients needed for a successful event,” Donna Fiedorowicz of the PGA Champions Tour.         After Allen holed out on the par-5 18th, Waldorf had a chance to extend the playoff, but missed an 8-foot birdie putt after finding the front bunker in two. Michael Allen tied the Champions Tour record with a 60 to take a three-shot lead after the first round of the Allianz in Boca Raton. Allen closed with a 3-under 69 to match Waldorf at 18-under 198 on The Old Course at Broken Sound.

As the Championship came down to a playoff with the final two golfers, Allianz Life announced it would double the initial donation of $1 per tweet, promising $2 for every tweet with the hashtag mention!
